Nuns on bikes

Another hot and humid day on the block with everyone working as quickly as possible to get the work done. Today we bricked walls and some of the students started painting the roofing material before it gets put on next week. Every day a government official comes on site to watch us for an hour or so, they seem to enjoy the activity and laughter. We were given traditional Vietnam scarves when we arrived and they are really useful we wear them as sweat bands, put them on under our caps to protect our necks or just to wipe your face. We are all turning into locals!

I took a photo of the whole family today as the son had been at school at the official welcome and found out they don't have a family picture so I have asked the local guides to find me somewhere to print off their photo and get a frame for their new house.

The Sister run all their errands on a scooter like everyone here in full dress quite a sight to see.

Tonight we are visiting the markets and going to a local Pizza place for dinner.
