Tunnels + Bats = Cu Chi

Today we visited the Cu Chi tunnels with all of the students being brave enough to try the tunnels for themselves. The bats were a little scary and a few screams were heard and not just from the girls. 

After a lovely lunch at a restaurant on the Saigon River we headed for My Tho. On arrival we realised that we had been booked into a different hotel and we are now at the Nha Khach hotel not far from where we thought we would be.  It's a bigger hotel and owned by the government. 

After a short orientation about the building project and the family we are building the house for we jumped in some taxis to go to dinner.  Another Vietmanise feast followed with rice paper rolls, deep fried fish, rice, chicken noodle soup and some other items I don't know the name of, we walked home.  If we don't start doing some work soon we will all need bigger clothing. 

I'm having a little trouble with the wifi and can't use the computer so I will have to post photos from today later however I did use my iPad to take this photo of our view from the hotel.
